What if being lost is actually the way forward?
Have you ever felt completely stuck? Like you've run out of answers, lost your direction, and can't figure out what comes next?
There's this beautiful poem that's been sitting with me lately. The poet suggests something radical: that when we no longer know what to do, we've actually arrived at our real work. That when we can no longer see the path forward, we've begun our real journey.
We spend so much energy trying to have everything figured out. We exhaust ourselves pretending we know the way when we're actually just as lost as everyone else. We beat ourselves up for being confused, for not having clear answers, for feeling stuck.
This week, try this: When you catch yourself saying "I should know what to do," pause. Ask yourself: what if not knowing is okay right now? What if this uncertainty is teaching me something?
Give yourself permission to be in the questions. To be baffled. To not have the next steps planned out.
The path has a way of revealing itself when we stop trying to control everything.
