What does your soul need?
As women, we're often taught that putting ourselves first is selfish. But what if the opposite were true? What if caring for ourselves was actually the most generous thing we could do?
Real self-care isn't long baths and face masks (although those are lovely, too!). It's setting boundaries. Saying no without explaining yourself. Taking up space. Honoring what your body and soul actually need instead of what everyone else expects.
This week, I invite you to ask yourself: What does my soul need today? Maybe it's five minutes of silence this morning. A walk without your phone. Permission to feel tired without fixing it immediately.
Speaking of honoring what we need: I'm excited to share that I'll be at the Midlife Medicine conference on September 20th in Seattle. It's a full day focused on women's health and thriving during midlife and beyond. If you're navigating this season of life, you can come find me there! We're all in this together, and there's something powerful about gathering with other women who understand the journey.

However you choose to care for yourself today, know that it's not selfish. It's essential.
