From shedding to running: Welcome to the Year of the Horse
As we move out of 2025 and into 2026, I've been reflecting on the wisdom of the Chinese zodiac and what these shifting energies teach us about growth and change.
The Year of the Snake asked us to shed what no longer fit. To slow down. To listen beneath habit and noise. It revealed where we were living on autopilot instead of truth.
This was not a year of rushing change, but of understanding why change was necessary. Growth happened quietly. Letting go was not an ending. It was preparation.
Now we enter the Year of the Horse.
The Year of the Horse brings movement and momentum. Where truth was revealed, now we act. This is a year of courage and forward motion. Of trusting instinct over familiarity. Of choosing freedom.
Clarity turns into action. Confidence grows through movement. The shedding is done. Now, we run.
What if 2026 is the year you finally trust yourself?
Not the year you figure it all out. Not the year you become perfect. But the year you trust your own instincts enough to move forward, even when the path isn't completely clear.
The Snake year taught us what needed to change. The Horse year asks: Will you have the courage to act on what you now know?
Here's what I'm holding as we cross this threshold
The preparation is complete. The truth has been revealed. What's calling for movement in your life? What would it look like to trust your instinct and choose freedom?
This isn't about rushing. The Horse doesn't run from fear. It runs toward freedom, toward open space, toward what's possible. There's courage in that kind of movement.
As you move into 2026, I invite you to ask: What am I ready to move toward? What would change if I trusted my own momentum?
The shedding is done. Now, we run.
